We stayed at the "Class A" campsite. There are electrical hookups but no water hookups. The sites vary, some are a little close together, others have nice separation. Almost all sites are under a dense canopy of trees, however there are a dozen or so near the enterance that are in the sun. All sites have paved parking aprons with dirt surfaces for the rest of the site. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Hot showers are available. Water spickets throughout the park. There is plenty of hiking, including many scenic overlooks of the Ohio River. Bring your own firewood, because it's $4.00 for 12 small pieces at front gate. Didn't find a camp store, I don't think one exists. Nearby Corydon, Indiana has plenty of grocery stores, movie theatres, and laundromats. Probably one of the more remote state forests in Indiana, and I think one of the most peaceful.
